On the right, Confederate General Thomas Jackson's guns helped to out duel the Union forces attempting to sweep the Southerners from
the field during the Battle of 1st Manassas. Behind the guns is the old trail
Jackson used to reach the field. In the distance
to the left mid-ground, you can see the reconstructed Henry House. To its left is the monument to General Stonewall Jackson.
To the far left you can see the small white marker to Confederate General Barnard E. Bee which reads
"Just before his death, to rally his scattered troops, he gave the command,
Form. Form. There stands Jackson like a stone wall.
Rally behind the Virginians."
