GRID PC Demo Now Available

Codemasters has announced that the new demo for GRID on PC is now available. Gamers can download the demo from http://community.grid-game.com. The demo allows US and UK gamers to play the game online in 12 player races.
Grid is currently slated for release on June 3rd.

Activision has just released three new screenshots for their upcoming Wii title, Pitfall: The Big Adventure. The game is currently in development by Edge of Reality and is slated for a Fall 2008 release.

Activision has announced a brand-new Pitfall game, titled Pitfall: The Big Adventure, for the Nintendo Wii. The game is currently being developed by Edge of Reality and is currently expected for a release this fall.
“Pitfall is one of the most legendary franchises in the history of videogames, so we look forward to releasing a new version exclusively for Wii,” said Dave Oxford, Activision Publishing. “What could be more fun than using the Wii Remote™ to swing on a vine over blood thirsty crocodiles as retro-cool Pitfall Harry?!”

BLIZZCON 2008 ANNOUNCED

Blizzard has announced plans for its third BlizzCon Gaming Convention. BlizzCon will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Califorina on October 10th and 11th. This year, however, Blizzard has increased the capacity of the show from two convention halls to three.

EA Announces Skate It

Electronic Arts announced a new game that will take advantage of the Wii Balance board. The game has all-new gameplay features that will have players take full advantage of the Balance board.
“We knew it would be an exciting challenge to bring the soul and feel of skateboarding to the Wii and Nintendo DS,” said Scott Blackwood, Executive Producer - Skate franchise. “With fresh new designs and gameplay components built from scratch, we’ve been able to, once again, capture the true experience of skateboarding in a completely innovative way.”
