The view of Seminary Ridge seen from Cemetery Ridge standing at The Angle. To the left is the low stone row behind which the
Philadelphia Brigade and others of Hancock's 2nd Corps fought off the determined yet tragic Confederate charge.
In the distance rise the Round Tops, the far left of the Union Line. As you pan to the right, you see
the Codori Barn and then the long line of tree in the distance along Seminary Ridge.
The Virginia Monument is visible in the cut out section of trees in the center.
It was across these fields that 12,500 stalwart men in gray walked
a mile over open fields striving to break the Union center.
