The view Confederate Major General George Edward Pickett's Division would have had as it emerged from the woods on Seminary Ridge to begin its famous charge.
The Codori Farm is to the center-left with The Angle and Copse of Trees to its left on Cemetery Ridge. The obelisk to the right of the Codori barn honors
the brave men of Vermont. Brigadier General George Stannard's statue stands atop the monument near the spot where his men pivoted
along their Cemetery Ridge line to fire into the flank of Pickett's Virginians as the braved the storm of metal and continued forward.
To the right of the Vermonters is the impressive Pennsylvania Monument, dedicated in 1910.
